YouTube Subscription Service To Launch In March

Lyor Cohen, the head of YouTube Music revealed details today to Bloomberg , about how the company had plans to combine its YouTube Red video subscription service with its Google Play music offering.
A move that some feel was needed to simplify the string of streaming services that YouTube own.

YouTube is still playing catch up to Spotify (140m monthly users) & Apple Music (30m users), its Red service only has 1.5m subscription paying users, something that they wish to expand, as they have fallen way behind other services whilst mergers have taken place.
