Michael Smith v Daryl Gurney
Smith used his get out of jail card last week against Gary Anderson, he then went on to claim the UK Open Qualifier title on Sunday, so his on a roll but will it continue against Gurney?
Daryl was Mr Consistent last week against Raymond van Barneveld and managed to get a draw, this one is hard to call.
We are close to calling this a draw, but we think Smith may just edge this (Check out Unibets darts odds here)
Rob Cross v Simon Whitlock
Since winning the World Championship Cross has had a nightmare run, on the other hand Simon Whitlock was on fire last week, he seemed keen on silencing those who questioned why he was involved in the Premier League 2018, having said that we are unsure if he can re-produce last weeks heroics, which was his 2nd highest TV average.
Cross to discover his form, but will be pushed. (Check out Unibets darts odds here)
Michael van Gerwen v Peter Wright
A chance to avenge the 2017 final for Wright ? Those missed darts will still be haunting Snakebite, and if he uses the same darts as he used last week, he will be dispatched by MVG, who has started 2018 on fire again. The doubles that were proving problematic for MVG at the Worlds are no longer an issue, making him favorite here.
MVG to win this continue his current form (Check out Unibets darts odds here)
Gerwyn Price v Gary Anderson
The crowd will be on this like Donkey Kong, they will be all over Gary Anderson, and Price wont exactly be shy in coming forward tonight, this will be one of the games of the night, Gary welcome to Cardiff. This game is all about how fit Anderson is, if his fighting fit and able to perform he wins, if not, then Price may just get to him.
Big call this, but I’m going for Price!! (Check out Unibets darts odds here)
Raymond van Barneveld v Mensur Suljovic
Mensur was great last week yet failed to collect a point, whilst Barney managed to get a point against Gurney and was nowhere near is usual self. These two are hard to split, can Barney be as inconsistent as last week ? Can Mensur raise his game to better than what it was last week ?
Can’t split these two, it’s a draw from us (Check out Unibets darts odds here)
